P.S.

To go along with my last post... since I forgot about half of the house. :)
Here is the other bathroom. Nat put a new sink in and fixed the toilet problem so now we have 2 fully functional bathrooms. (YAY!!!)
Its kinda smaller so kinda hard to get a good pic.. but you get the point. :)

This is the 2nd living area.

which has a (hideous) fireplace... but a fireplace none the less.

The other side. Pay no mind to the disaster of a desk in the corner. I have yet to bring myself back there to take care of it.

Outside
front of the house

Our back yard... bout as far as you can see is our property.

front yard
the huge ginormous round thing you see off in the distance is a huge ginormous storage shed. We put all of our "shed" stuff out there and it doesn't even put a dent in it! The little house you see to the right of the suburban is (was) like a tack room... but Nat has plans to make it like a real life doll house for the girls. I can't wait its gonna be so fun!!

side area with a picnic table.

....And as if we had any doubt about buyin this house... which we NEVER had .... this would for sure have sold it for us. We like to call this Daddy's house. Nat's always dreamed and talked about having a shop for him to work on his vehicles in so when we saw that this place had a shop it was another one of those things that makes this house made just for us!! He is thrilled about his shop, As am I.

The beast has made its way down to NM and with that, EVERYTHING we own is all here with us. Just to show how huge this shop is... blazer has a 6 in. lift on it and it doesn't even begin to take up too much space. (Don't mind the mess. We threw all boxes and trash in their and haven't yet taken it all to the dump.) (Plus Nat is still working on getting all his stuff where he wants it.)

HOME!

In a nutshell:
-Were here.
-Were in.
-Pictures are hung.
-Boxes are out of the house.
-Children are sleeping a million trillion times better in their own rooms.
*Stetson's room.

fun little fact. second shelf: the wood gun was Nat's toy that his dad made him when he was little and the rolled up belt has an "R" on it and it belonged to Nat's PawPaw.

*The girls room/play room
My sister painted these.

-I HAVE MY OWN ROOM AND BATHRROOM.
(do I sound like a 16 year old who has always wanted her own room???)

Master bathroom

Dogs are in heaven.

They (the pups) play play play all day long running around all over the property exploring and finding new things... then they come in and completely crash! Mitsy girl stays inside all day. Moving from room to room. I've decided something: there's nothing greater than an old dog who lays around all day and loves a family and doesn't pee in the house or chew on stuff. Thats our little mitsy.

-Internet and cable are hooked up and I am enjoying watching my shows that I haven't been able to watch in 7 months.... and my pictures are being uploaded 49 times faster than im used to (YAY!!!)
-We already made a trip to Lowes and the man in my life is currently doing some minor improvements... and thats why I adore him.
This is the other bathroom. It needed a new sink and some new toilet parts and now its like new! (Isn't my plumber cute????) ;)

Dining room.
(kitchen was a disaster mess at the moment of taking pictures... so pictures of kitchen will come later.)

Entertainment center... and Nat's new "item". He sooo deserves it so I couldn't tell him no when he told me what size TV he wanted... Boys will be boys. But, like I said, if anyone deserves something like that its him! He's a hard workin man who asks for nothing in return.

My little corner...oh how I missed my chair!
Love seat and the beautiful bay windows.
Couch
Hallway... looking from our bedroom to the living room

WERE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE!!!!

ITS OFFICIAL!

**WE ARE OFFICIALLY HOMEOWNERS!!!!!!!

Sorry, I pretty much did just yell that at you, cuz I pretty much can't believe it. I guess I'll start to believe it when we start making mortgage payments after not having to for 7 months now. :) We had a little wrench thrown into our excitement as soon as we signed the papers. We really weren't too sure how this was all gonna go down anyways cuz things have been up in the air with the matter... but the previous (ya know, cuz WERE the NEW) homeowners are having to rent the house from us for a week. The longest week of our lives will be this week!!!!!! Me and the kids are gonna spend the week in TX so I think it won't be so hard for us since we'll be havin fun.

Everything happens in Gods timing. No doubt about that! I love looking back and seeing things fall in place as God wanted them, and not us. So we are confident that this extra week is God's plan!

**We had to make another run back to TX for bank reasons... which was a fun little trip. I love that we are able to pick up and go whenever we want (on Nat's days off). I love to be sporadic, and we are pretty much professionals at it! We can pack up a family of 5... clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes, formula, toiletries AND now 2 dogs in a matter of a couple hours! I really just love doing crazy things like that. Yes, were crazy.

**My sweet little man turned 7 months old a few days ago!
-He is soooooo close to crawling its not even funny! Mostly when he is in his crib, or on a bed he is up on all 4's the whole time... not so much on the floor... guess its too hard for his little knees. I can't wait!!
-He definitely like real food a million times more than baby food. He will chow down if you feed him the real stuff. Both girls were like that too.
-FINALLY got his first little tooth. Thank the Good Lord above!
-Our sleep issues have been SOLVED!!!!!!! I kid you not, the night we got home with the puppies is the night he started sleeping better. So instead of being up with him, I've been up with the dogs! Couldn't have worked out any worse! I am so very thankful that he started sleeping better... better being only waking once for a bottle and waking up at 8:30. Anyways, he gets on his tummy and sticks his butt up in the air and has to have his face smothered in a blanket.... and since he's found this position, he's been sleeping like a champ!
-sweet, sweet little boy who is so absolutely loved and adored by all 3 females in the house that I feel sorry for his wife.
-Thinks his daddy hung the moon and the stars and loves him to death. Stares and stares at him like he's waiting for Nat's approval.
-Life, as we know it, has gotten 49 times easier.....
hooray for holding his own bottle!!

**The Dogs are doing great!! They're both so good and are doing great with everything! Including going out and pottying OUTSIDE! They did so amazing on our trip to TX. We definitely got 2 great dogs! We did some reading up on their breeds (australian shep/heeler mix) (lab/collie mix) and they both had amazing things said about them. We were feeling pretty confident in our buys after we read up on them. Just great dogs all around, and rare to find at that!!
Axel goes right into the crate when he is ready to sleep. We just leave the door open and he goes in as he pleases. He is an outside guy and hates to come in! Aussie is just a little sweet girl that loves the action. If your there, thats where she wants to be too....
including in the tub!! She was going bonkers to get in the tub with the kids so Nat threw her in. Once she realized what it was she was ready to get back out.

**The girlies are both doing great! Payton is coming along in her speech so well!! More in love with her blankie and "juuuuu" than ever. Blankie and juice is what gets us through the day with her. She is still pretty testy and hitting more 2 year old things everyday. Madelynn is still just a sweet, sweet little girl. She makes the start of my day every day by coming in my room and giving the biggest bear hug, and with the sweetest smile on her face she says: "I missed you mama.... I wuv you".... Ahhh, it melts my heart every time.

Capital "S"

For stupid??..... or for SMART??

I like........ ok... love to shop. Its therapy for me. I'm not like outta control, max out credit cards crazy about shopping. I love to grocery shop even... it just does something for me. Nat is kinda supportive of my shopping habits... but not always thrilled about it. I like to (try to) justify some of my spending extravaganzas and its almost always "It was on sale!!!!!!" Its true, other than groceries, I never buy anything at full price! I do some serious shopping around, researching and reading reviews for days before I make the plunge on a purchase. I'm a bargain shopper. So in reality I am helping my family in the end... right??? I like to think I am anyways.

.......Just to clear things up, I'm not like a crazy shopper and I would never put my family in jeopardy financially with my habits. Its just if we have some extra money... I'm more than likely going to spend some.

So.... hergo the capital "S".... we bought something, 2 somethings at that... and to make it all the more better, the plunge into buying these somthings is.... They were on SALE!!!! YEA me. Ok... so once I tell you what it is, your probably gonna think I'm a crazy maniac!....and truth be known... I am. This was all me. All my stupidity. As Nat always does, he tried to talk me out of it.

Meet Axel
(best pic I have of him)
but isn't he a handsome boy?
He is such a sweet boy! He's calm and loving. Doesn't hardly chew on things. He is gonna be the protector. He loves to be outside and exploring. The girls have been playing outside a lot the past few days and he stays with them no matter where they go. Just what we have been wanting!

and Aussie

Little miss is a feisty little thing. She's Nat's dog For sure! :) She likes to be inside around all the action, around the kids and the craziness. She likes to chew, and just to show you how crazy this girl is, we've already had a near death experience with her. I let them play outside and she got herself stuck in between our house, and the shed next to it. I was home with the kids and heard her yelping... I eventually found her and tried to get her out, but couldn't.... she was basically being squeezed to death. It scared me cuz there was nothing I could do and I slowly just watched her breaths get shorter. I finally got her to back up where there was more space for her and eventually got it to where she could get under the house and she finally got out.

We have been talking about getting a dog, or 2 since we've been working on buying our house. 20 acres and all, how could you not have a couple dogs?? We've had dog troubles in the past, as you may remember and that has left us with just Mitsy girl. She's 9 years old, small(er) than a big dog, and will probably live out the rest of her life as an inside dog being left alone by all the small children. She has been living with Nat's parents for about 7 months now since I moved into my parents, and has stayed since we've moved down here simply cuz adding a dog to the small house would just be to much. So you might be thinkin to yourself... then why would you go out and buy TWO of the suckers?? Well, I am a professional justifier, so I shall justify my reasonings. 1.) we'll only be here 1-2 more weeks.. how horrible could it be??. 2.) THEY WERE ON SALE... (cuz they had been there longer than they would have liked.) 3.) They were way cute! 4. We were in Lubbock, at the pet store in the mall... I saved us gas, AND another potential shopping trip to come back to Lubbock to pick out our dogs when we do get our house.

Sounds good right?? Ok, ok, I know what your thinking again. Who in their right mind would want to put themselves through 2 puppies, and 3 small children?? ME! NO doubt about it Nat and I both agree that we want our kids growing up with dogs.... and probably, honest to gosh, hands down the #1 reason we decided to do this right now is because there are coyotes BAD out at our new house. They will come right up in the yard and poop. After we found that out were like for sure, were getting dogs asap. That way when the kids go out to play, the dogs will go with them. No matter what. We'll get the dogs as pups and they'll be trained to stay with, and protect the kids. If, God forbid, something were to ever happen. We would always want the dogs to be with the kids if they were outside by themselves. If we were getting a house in town. I wouldn't have done it. I just can't put a price on my children's safety, so if that means raising 5 kids, potty training 2, and raising 3, I'll do it. After all, I don't sleep anyways. :)

they had a little trouble getting along while eating, but that has since been worked out.

They're both 2 months old. We initially decided to just get Axel cuz when we took the 2 of them out to play with them, he was calmer and more gentle with the kids. After much deliberation after leaving him at the pet store for the remainder of our shopping day, we decided to go ahead and get them both. That's been my plan all along, to get 2 puppies when we did get dogs.... cuz lets just be honest here, if your gonna do it, then do it. Just like if your gonna have kids, then have them all 1 year apart... sorry, just had to throw that in there. ANYWAYS... we've had them for about a week now and I think its safe to say that its going great! They are both extremely smart (breeds) of dogs... and it shows. They're doing great with the kids and with potty training.

She really likes Stetson and wants to be all up in his business all the time. She is, for the most part, relatively gentle with him.

Our dream come true! Girls playin outside with the dogs.

I vote SMART move!
