"4"

Sooo... It appears that my oldest child has added another year to her life.
I know, you know that I know.... I seriously cannot believe this is happening!!!!

So I won't go on and on... I'll just go lay in my bed and cry....

At 4, my sweet Madelynn:
-Loves, and is (still) obsessed with the color PINK.
-Has always been a girly girl.
-Loves to dress up. Loves to be a Princess
-Loves "high shoes"... has a pair of cute little wedges that have a slight heel on them... she wears them when she wants to feel grown up... or extra cute.
- Still 100% in love with life... lives it to the fullest.
-Wants to play soccer, dance, act on stage, and do gymnastics.... momma still isn't ready to commit. ;)
-She is kinda sorrta "wandering" away from her littler siblings... meaning she is maturing and becoming independent....
-but she still ROCKS the big sister role
-loves to learn and is officially enrolled in PreK... asks every day if its time for school yet.
-Wants to grow her hair out "like Rapunzel" and has the most beautiful blonde wavy locks.
-still CANNOT function without a nap...and I am STILL ok with that. :)
-Loves to watch TV and often quotes commercials... not that she sits around all day long watching TV, she just has a crazy memory and remembers weird things like commercials.
-Is 180% outgoing and has not a 1 shy bone in her body... and for that I am grateful!! ;)
-Is cautious at everything... but once she is (kindly) forced or decides to give it a try.. she realizes its not so bad and usually goes crazy doing whatever it is. The latest thing is swimming... so, so, SO proud of her for finally agreeing to take the floaties off and giving it a try. It was good for her to see her cousins doing the swimming thing... now she is a little fishy and would swim all day long if you let her.
-Talks, often times, more than my non-talkative self can handle... and at times drives me absolutely nuts with all the talking. :) I mean that with all the love in my heart.... but seriously, she talks A LOT!!
-She is the sweetest little girl whom we love soooo much, and who has brought our home so much joy!!!

Love you, my sweet girl. Happy 4th Birthday
XOXO

Birthday Trip!

My sweet heart, honey love is officially a 1/4 of a century!! He turned the big 2-5 and his dear mother wanted us all to go to Six Flags to celebrate!!

Our kids have been SOOO out of whack since we've been back. Like I'm sorta losing my mind outta whack. They just haven't caught on that this ISNT a vacation. So I was slightly nervous about taking them out of town.. but they ended up surprising me and did WONDERFUL!!!

We didn't let in to Nat that we had a few birthday surprises for him. Thanks to my wonderful in-laws, and us being in 2 separate vehicles, we were able to pull it all off!!

We went to eat (after our trip to the mall for my dear husband to get shoes, of which he forgot.)

and after a trip to the convenience store "cuz I needed tums" We got back to our hotel room for a little party. ;)

New boots!

Of course, the first thing the kids do is go right for the phone!!

One thing that Nat does love is the whipped icing as opposed the buttercream.... It was not an easy thing to find... but after several trips to different stores, they found some!!! and it was PINK!!
It was funny.

Next day we were up bright and early to get a head start at Six Flags.

His mama surprised him in the parking lot with a few adornments. He wore that pin all day and got LOTS of birthday wishes.

The girls and I on the first ride!! I definitely have 2 riding buddies when they get tall enough. ;)

Stetson was so unsure about all this round and round business. He had this funky look on his face the whole time!!

My sweet, magnificent, wonderful husband surprised me by playing this ^ game and winning a "Superwoman" cape for me. :)

Waiting for the train.

sleepy bub.

They're not my children.

Nat's favorite was riding these antique cars.

Payton had just woke up at this point... and she hadn't had her "wake up time" therefore she was NOT having it... so they met up for her blanket.

she's addicted.

My babies.

It was a perfect day!! Lines were super short, kids were amazing and had SUCH a great time.
Happy Birthday to the one I married.
XOXO
