My girl.

**For starters... THANK YOU, from the bottom of my soul for the sweetness that came from my last post. I was overwhelmed with the amount of love that came from all of you. Please continue to pray!!!

I cannot believe how big my baby is!!! Madelynn has officially wrapped up her year at CCS and is officially a Kindergartener!!! My heart has gone out to all parents who have children graduating high school this year........ or EVER.
I know.
I admit it.
Im a FREAK!!!
I dont handle this well.
Can you tell??
Im a severe sentimentalist... and I can't help it.

Her aspirations for this year did not change much... she still wants to be a Princess. :)

She got the "helping hands" award from her teacher this year.

Melt my soullllll!!!!!!!

We are soo proud of her!!

She wrote out Thank You notes for her teachers this year.

Falling apart.

Im writing this post to ask for PRAYER!
I 110%, whole heartily believe and trust in the power of Prayer. I've seen it to much to not believe in it. :)

I'm asking for prayer for myself. Over the past month, my health has gone downhill! Ive been having severe headaches/migraines for a little over a month now! Its been a loooong, depressing time for me, as such a thing can wear on a person mentally, as well as physically. Slowly, symptoms have started to get worse, including particular left eye pain/throbbing, forgetfulness, confusion, and severe lethargy.... so much so that about a week ago, when taking care of Payton in the middle of the night, and being completely out of it, I slipped coming down the stairs, severely bruised/possibly broke my tailbone and fell down the stairs, add that on top of my other issues, and my world has been rocked!

... and no, not in a good way. As you can only imagine, theres nothing good that comes from a tailbone injury and not being able to sit, at all, without severe, breath-taking-away pain. I've been laying in bed a lot the past few days!! My poor kids, and my poor house!!

anyways.... so back to the headaches. I made an eye appointment, because 1- it was due time anyways, and 2- wearing glasses my whole life, I know thats a good starting place for headaches. My vision had changed rather drastically... therefore the Dr. wanted me to get new glasses and THEN see where the headaches take us.

I got my new glasses and the headaches didn't stop, matter of fact, they got worse, including worsened symptoms, and now, wonky vision.

Luckily I had a Doctors appointment with a MD a week later, just to get established in with him, so I knew I was gonna talk to him about the headaches as well. When I saw him, he agreed with the eye DR. on waiting to see if the new prescription helped.
BUT- he referred me to a neurologist for my carpel tunnel (which is another issue for another post) and I knew that that was 1 person that would hear me out a tad more than the other 2 Doctors had.

....and that she did!! She did a few tests on me, and determined that along with all my strange symptoms, loss of menstrual cycle, unexplained weight gain, that  I also have loss of peripheral vision in my left eye. The eye that has been bothering me severely!! This all lead her to think that I possibly have a Pituitary Tumor, which is just as it sounds, a tumor in the brain, on the pituitary gland.

In the next couple weeks, I will have an MRI on my brain, and I'm praying the Lords will be done, praying for peace in my soul during a not so peaceful time. Strength for Nat, and myself as we go through this together. (Lord knows I couldn't go through this without a strong fella like him by my side.)
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers!!
These poor kids have been dealing with a sad mama thats in a lot of pain and not able to do much for them!!!

Rodeo

Yes, San Angelo-ans... the Rodeo was 2 months ago... and yes, I'm just now re-capping that fun day... But, my good pictures were on my camera that mysteriously disappeared, or was stollen... (haven't quite decided which it was..) and I just now (finally) transferred my pictures from my phone to my computer...
I only did this cuz I had zero memory left on my phone and needed to erase as much as I could of anything... its not like I actually have approximately 84 blog posts just form pics on my phone.

Its needed to be done for months now... so, now just know that you'll start seeing lots of random posts on here for a bit.

Okay.... so, the Rodeo... is there anything in life that makes you LOVE the place you live like a good 'ol rodeo?? Nothin says Texas like slippin your boots on and goin to the rodeo!

I thought the kids were gonna love it...
I think I was wrong.
It was 2 hours of:
I wanna go ride rides
I gotta go potty
Im tired
Im bored
 I wanna go home
My feet hurt
Don't touch me
I wanna go ride rides
Im hungry
Im thirsty
I gotta go potty
I want cotton candy
I wanna go ride rides!!
Ya, were still not there, at the -enjoying it- mark.. next year, I think we will get a babysitter. ;)

Never the less, we stuck it out.

Cotton candy stickiness!!!
(and no wipees.... cuz I have no babies... and no need to carry wipes... which means I have no reason to carry a diaper bag... sighhhh)

Bored little man.

The kids were excited to head to the fair...
their favorite part was the petting zoo and horse rides!!

sweet girl was having the time of her life!! She has a special place in her little heart for animals, and it was almost like the animals could tell, cuz they followed her around the whole time!! She always had a hoard of animals around her. We had to rescue her a few times cuz they were just taking over her little self trying to get her food.

Gotta slip a pic in of mama and daddy. ;)

Little man got his first cowboy hat!!

Handsome thing.

Enjoying some good 'ol carnival food.
Foot long corn dogs, turkey legs and fresh squeezed lemonade.

Hahahaha. He might kill me for posting this, but I got this HI-LARIOUS pic of Nat eating his turkey leg.

All 3 enjoyed getting to ride rides this year!!

...and my favorite pic of all.
Dear Carnival folks: MORE seating please, for all us parents with little kids that can't walk and eat at the same time.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter, celebrating the risen Savior!! Ever since Easter, the girls have been GRILLING us with questions about God,  Jesus, heaven and Jesus dying on the cross... Its sure been neat to see their little brains running.... They've asked questions  I'm not even sure how to answer!! Not that I'm a Bible scholar or anything.... but whew!!
They got some movement in their little hearts!!! and I LOVE it!!!!

and Par-Don-ey me while I brag on my beauties!! Are they not the cutest things you ever saw???

Ohhh I just love them!!!

and my beautiful little ladies....

We've struggled getting into a church since we've been back in town. Not really somewhere I like to be... but, we were really excited to get to visit the church my dad has been preaching at.
and........
We were able to be there for the unanimous vote to vote him as the new Pastor at Christoval Baptist Church!!
I'll definitely be super sad to not see him at the school every time I'm up there..
but,
We are super excited for this change in their lives!!!!

I had agreed to host Easter dinner at our house this year before I realized just how crazy things were gonna be  after Paytons surgery... so needless to say, I backed out of anything "hosting" except cleaning the dadgum toilets. ;)
We had a wonderful time!!
and as always, we LOVED having people in our home.

I love watching my sisters "snapchat" and I love catching they're stupid faces... but its even better when I catch my husband joining in with them.

Little bit a Duck Dynasty.

We had a monstrous easter egg hunt!!

and cascarones.

Little sisters with all their nieces and nephews.

The kids had a blast!!
