So a couple years ago, when Nat and I were dating.. actually we were engaged.. he gave me a puppy. That was a big no-no (still lived with the parents) we (my family) had 3 dogs already and me bringing a puppy home late one night and hiding it in my room was not to high on my parents list. So after the shock of it and the unhappiness towards their second child, they somehow let me keep her... I am guessing it was because they knew I was going to marry the guy and not be living at home to much longer. So began our relationship. Just to give you a clue into mine and her relationship... her name is baby. She was my little baby. I loved her and she loved me even more than that. I could do anything I want to her and she would still love me to death and think I hung the moon.... Anyways... So she will be 3 in Nov. (I think) and she has never been fixed... never... until today. Poor thing. She is sooooo very out of it still. Its actually a little funny to watch her stumble all over the place and act like she's been drinkin or somethin. But hey, if they made us get up 2 hours after surgery and walk around... we would probably be acting the same way.
getting on the couch is a big no no in this house and she knows better...
but we got home and she climbed up there next to me like I would be ok with it... right. I would never fall for that... and shes not still up there at 11 o'clock at night... nope she's sure not ;) I told her it was ok this one time since she just had surgery.
In other news (and I must put this in capital letters to express my pure joy) MADELYNN TOOK 4... YES COUNT THAT... 4 STEPS ALL BE HERSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it?? Its was so weird cuz all day she has kinda been standing on her own and just doin brave stuff that she does not normally do and I was kinda gettin a little mad cuz I just know that she knows what to do. So when Nat got home from work I though i would try gettin her to walk to him and she did. over and over again. Its like she discovered that she can do it and its fun to her. We did it for a good while till she got tired of it. We were so excited. Im sure we looked like a bunch of idiots watching her. But man.. whats more exciting than that?? I'm sure that it will be no time now. (mom+dad working with the walking girl = no pictures.) but we will definitely get some soon. She was sooo proud of herself.
Yay for walking!!!! :)
