PUPPIES!!

OK, for real, folks!!!!!
Who wants one of these precious little puppies????

I am sure everyone is getting tired of my puppy talk on FaceBook.... (and I apologize if I drive you nuts)
So.... I thought I would bring the puppy business to my blog too.
We have
(9)
Nine.
Nuevo.
NINE left.
and when they're ready to go on February 3rd....... I would love it if they ALL went.

I love them. They're adorable, sweet, precious little things and I would keep all of them if we weren't going through 1 HUGE bag of dog food a week. If they didn't all 11 poop and pee EVERYWHERE all day long.... and if I didn't spend 3/4 of my  day cleaning up poop/pee. changing out pee pads. Feeding 11 ravenous starving to death puppies... and REPEAT!

Literally, I DO NOT know what I will do with my "spare" time when they're gone. It will be bittersweet, as we've grown to love ALL of them.

So tell your mom. Tell your grandma. Tell your sisters and your brothers. Tell your grandma and your grandpa. FREE PUPPIES!!!!!!!!

Miss Kinley. Who's new home will be with Karl and Crystal.

Aren't they ADORABLE?!?!

Girl time!

We picked Danielle up from the airport on Thurs. evening and on Friday morning, we all       (-Nat) headed to Angelo. The kids were gonna go to their cousins party, and while my mom kept them for the weekend, we were gonna have some serious girl time!!

Thats not something I get much of. Having a good girlfriend is like having an amazing husband.... but a huge plus is that she is a girl too.... so she can relate to you in a way no man can!! Make sense???

Friday evening we went to dinner with my sister, and then a late LATE movie (a big no-no once you have kids, right?!?) ;) I'll just say this, the whole time she was here, we were never in bed before 2 AM.... and we were OK with that cuz we had A LOT of catching up to do. Saturday we woke up early and headed to the Spa.
Ok, this spa thing is a new thing for me. I've kinda dipped my toe in the Spa pool here in Hobbs, but only for Mani's and Pedi's. We each got a facial, a massage, a mani and a pedi. It was a day of heavenly pampering.... and something that I will treat myself to way more often that not!!!

Afterwards we went and ate at Olive Garden... YUM! Thats one of those places you kinda mark off the -eating out with kids- list. Then we went and did a little shopping. After a little incident with Miss Payton, we spent some of the afternoon/evening with the kids... which I was Ok with cuz I was sure missin them!! After awhile we headed to ANOTHER late movie.

Sunday morning we slept in and once we were up, did a little more shopping, and then spent the rest of the day hanging out with my family.

She got her hair cut, so of course that means for a little photo shoot. :)

It was a PERFECT weekend if I do say so myself.
When we got home we just hung out around the house and she got to see the in's and outs of our everyday life. It was so hard to say goodbye and I wish we lived closer. We are planning a trip up to MI. in May and I CANNOT WAIT!!!

A friend.

I'm not the type of person that has a ton of friends. Not the type to make a friend the first time around.... just ask anyone who knows me. ;) Actually it takes a good year before I sincerely make a good friend. I dont fully open up to someone for about a year! Hence the reason I am OK with not having many friends.

BUT......

There is 1 very special friend that I am blessed to have. Many many years ago, the military brought the Dixons and the Bulars together.... and our familys made life long friends.... had childrenq1 together, and kept in touch for many years to come. Two of those offspring were born 29 days apart, and have been the BEST of friends since then.

My dear friend Danielle lives in Michigan, and I have settled in TX/NM. We have stayed in touch even after moving out from under our parents. Even tho we lead copletely different lives... we can still pick up right where we left off 3 years ago.

She is in college and is in no hurry to start a family.... I am a SAHM who devotes every waking second to my 3 children... and I love the fact that she fits right in with our family, and jumps in like they were her own kids. What a blessing to have such a friend!!!

A friend that doesn't judge us, like so many have, for getting married young, and having a crazy life at the young age of 18 and 20. A friend who doesn't care how much weight you've gained, but makes brownies and devours them with you. A friend who loves you for who you are and NOTHING more. A friend you can/have told ALL your secrets to.

A GREAT friend is a wonderful thing to have.... and it doesnt get any better than this.

Christmas festivities pt. 1

Wow, is 2011 really over?!? I can't even believe it. Life just keeps on flyin by!!
Well I don't know about y'all, but we had a fan-tastic Christmas!! A blessed one indeed.

Christmas Eve jammies!

Nat begged and begged to open gifts Christmas Eve, but I just couldn't fathom waking up Cmas morning to nothing.... so I settled with 1 gift along with their jammies.

Payton showing us the "hook in the fishes mouth" on her Go Fish game.

 Playing her Go Fish game.
Bubba tried using pliers to eat with! To say Nat was proud would be an understatement. ;)

We had a white Christmas.... which was pretty amazing. We got like 8 or so inches the 3 days it snowed. All 3 kids were either sick or on the verge of getting better so we didn't go out in the snow.

Santa came and brought the much awaited tooth brushes.... that is ALL Madelynn asked for this Christmas.

We've been dying to get the girls some Power Wheels since they're right at that age where they would LOVE them. So we took advantage of living in a warmer climate we live in and got them each one for Christmas... .wouldn't you know there would be snow on the ground for a week!! So needless to say, it was a bum that we couldn't take the jeeps out for a ride for awhile.

Here they come!

Nat took us out to "play" in the snow (in the suburban).... so we went and visited the cows while we were in the back pasture.

Luckily, we headed out of town during the melting process of all this snow and icicles... There is not much messier than melting snow with dogs, kids and husbands.
It was sure pretty while it lasted.
