Hello World

ok... I just typed a nice long post for you and in the midst of an absent brain, I accidentally erased all of it. So I will go over the very basics cuz I do not feel like doing it again.

We have all been sick around here. Madelynn has had it the worse with running fever, ear ache, cough cough coughin, and just plain misurable. Nat has pretty much had the same thing, just not as bad. So its been a clorox wipin, pacifier boilin, hand washin fun time at our house. In the midst of all that, Payton has managed to catch a little somethin. She is coughing a little and got a little stuffy nose, thankfully nothin more than that... and were hopin it stays that way. I am very slooooooooowwwwwwlllllyyyyyy recovering from this c-section. Its been a little difficult to say the least. Anyways... enough about the bad stuff.

Payton is a VERY good baby! I may venture to say that she may be better than Madelynn was and if you know how good Madelynn was (and still is) you know that I am VERY spoiled!! I admit it. I guess they will just be perfect little angels like there sweet mother. :) I can deal with that

Madelynn has taken very well to having Payton around. She has had a few "oh my gosh... thats sooo not like her" moments but for the most part its been very good!! She loves to give her kisses... that are more like head buts... but its oh so sweet. She will just randomly walk (crawl) up to Payton while she is in the swing, or on the couch and give her sweet kisses. She loves to touch her and for the most part is pretty gentle with her. She has to be reminded at times to be sweet. She has turned into a mature little girl this week... not sure if its having Payton around or if its just that time in her life. She is just a smart little girl and we have enjoyed watching her learn new things and do new things. Every day that Nat comes home from work, I have something big to tell him about what she did new that day. Pretty exciting!! Were getting sooooo close to walking! I know it!

It has been hard adjusting to life with 2 kids and I definitely still dont have it down at all but were gettin there... slowly. Anyways... here are a few pictures for ya...

Look at all that hair!! I never thought this kid would get hair... she even has enough to do little piggy tails. I have pictures to show you... just not with me.

Oh let the matching begin. The joys of having 2 girls. :)

pink pink pink.

After you see this precious little baby please notice my $35 flowers and plant in the background that my husband dearly surprised me with... and I was later surprised when I looked at the bank and saw how much he spent. It was very sweet of him! He got me 2 roses for the 2 beautiful children I gave him... isnt that sweet??? He's gettin better at this sweet stuff. :)

Payton meeting Granny great for the first time.

First bath at home

Oh those huge green pacifiers... I had every intetntion of Payton using a different paci to avoid confusion... she had other intentions

Sweet sweet sweet

Daddy and his princess and his little princess. (we solved the "princess" problem...)

Oh, and I must say a Happy Anniversary to the love of my life. We celebrated 2 years on the 24. Two years and two kids... beat that!! HA!! Ya... most people probably wouldn't want things to be that way.

The Rose babies

**There is a new post below this one.

I stole this from when I did it when Payton was born... except I added Mr. Stetson to the mix.
They each have their own little look about them. But there are some pictures I look at and think Stetson and Madelynn look alot alike... and then others I look at and I see Stetson looking like Payton. Guess that means they all 3 got a little bit of each of us. Can't go wrong there. I look at Madelynn and Payton now and they look nothing alike to me... so we'll see about Stetson in a couple of months.

Payton... I think she won as far first poop. :)

I was so sad that Nat was gonna miss the traditional "first poop diaper" since Stetson wasn't in our room with us... but the little man gave his daddy his glory when we went to visit him that first night. He also peed on him in the process.

I won't tell you that every single time that I have changed that boys diaper, I have also been peed on. Anyone have any advice on changing boys??? It is a lot different than changing a girl that is for sure!!

False Alarm x2

Yes, once again, we were sent home without a baby. Sunday morning around 4 I woke up having contractions... had been all night but didnt wake up and think that possibly I was in labor till about 4. So I got up and started timin 'em. I was not gonna go to the hospital until I was 100% sure this was it!!! I sat on the couch for an hour and a half as they got stronger and closer. Eventually they were 5 minutes apart and there was no denyin it... This was it!!! So I went and woke Nat up and told him and we got up and got ready to go. Called my mom to come over and sit with Madelynn. We get to the hospital and they completely stop! I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad! This is exactly what I didnt want to happen. Layed in the bed for about an hour as the contractions weren't coming.... I just wanted to leave. I wasn't dialating at all... still at a 2. Ugh... do you know how frustrating that is????? Why couldn't my water break again at 37 weeks and be done with it??? This is so different from Madelynn. Anyways... We went home and took a nap, when I woke up, they started back up... all day long I had contractions regularly. Today I have not had as much as yesterday but they are definitely there. So who the heck knows. I have stayed super super hydrated. I decided that Im not goin to the hospital again unless my water breaks or I absolutley cant bear the contractions after more than 2 hours.

Pretty much just got 4 more days at the most anyways... I dont forsee much happenin if I am already contracting and nothin is goin on. I see trouble with my second child... Idk... maybe it will be like its father... Lord help me.

In other news, not to much goin on around the Rose household... I have been "nesting"... or rather cleaning like I mad woman these past few days. Doin laundry and gettin everything ready for this little bundle of joy.

Back in February, we went to Round Rock to go to Ikea. We had planned (knowing that we were having another baby and were NOT going to purchase another crib) to buy Madelynn a bed with our tax return. We got a whole bedroom set. Anyways, this weekend, Nat and Tyler set it all up in her room and it looks soooo good. Im not gonna push the transision any time soon cuz the baby can be in the bassinet for a good long while... but I am definitly going to give it a try because she is not sleeping good at all right now in her crib. Maybe it will turn out to be a good thing... maybe not. Never know till we try right???

Madelynn is actually starting to know that there is another option in life other than crawling. She likes to walk behind her mater (remember that??) and push it all over the house. Were gettin somewhere... She is also getting more teeth... Im assuming the top ones. They still have not made an appearance but I know somethins gotta be goin on in there... Lets just say she LIVES with her pacifier in her mouth and she knows and loves motrin. :) Between that and having contractions and being in pain all the time... By the end of the day Im dead. I'll be glad when I can actually deal with her and be her mom again rather than just letting her suck her paci all day to keep her happy. However through all this, she has now learned what a goldfish says... or rather, does. She gets her little lips goin... its so cute.

Friday is the day! Idk if I will make it over here to post again before then so maybe now the next post will be about the baby?? Im excited. Cant wait to find out if its a boy or a girl... No matter how much I want another girl, my bets are on a boy... just got a feelin. I will really be shocked if its a girl!!

Pictures

Hello?? are ya'll out there??? No one ever leaves me comments any more and it makes me sad. Comments make the blogging world go round! :)

Kinsey had this genious idea that I should blog at home and just save it... then when I get to the internet, just post em all! So there ya go, if you scroll down, I posted 3 new blogs. Keep in mind that these are over a few days period.

Now, I got my camera and chord so this might be a huge picture overload. Sorry for the lack of pictures in the previous blogs... I know sometimes long blogs are hard to read when they are not broken up by pictures. :)
(These are out of order and I really dont feel like putting them in lifes order so start at the bottom and go up. )

In case you cant tell, thats a little microphone on one of her toys. My sister showed her how it works and she puts the whole thing in her mouth and makes noises. It probably wont work long due to all the drool that is now in it.
