Laundry

Ok, I am writing this after I just folded my third load of Nat's clothes today...

First of all, he only owns 2 work shirts, so that puts me doing 2 loads of laundry every 2 days. Which usually, I can do 2 loads of our clothes a weeks and then a load of Madelynns stuff and a load of towels and were good for a week or so. Don’t get me wrong… I know that I got it easy… only having laundry for the three of us. But my gosh… Nathaniel owns more clothes than any woman I ever met! And he wears ‘em. Lets see. EVERY DAY-- he has his work jeans and work shirt, an undershirt and 2 pairs of socks. When he gets home from work (most days) he puts on workin outside jeans, a workin outside shirt, a new undershirt and 2 new pairs of socks. (he has to wear 2 pairs of socks cuz his feet are so thin and his boots only fit just right with 2 pairs of socks.) So that’s a lot of clothes for one person to wear ONE DAY!!! So needless to say, just about all of the laundry is Nat’s with a few of my clothes thrown in there. And on top of that…. He is EXTREMELY picky about how his clothes fit and are folded and hung! I learned this the hard way. You see, when we were dating, I always would do his laundry for him.. I know, I know what a sweet girlfriend. Of course, we were in the -do everything you can to impress each other- stage of life so I wanted to fold his clothes just right and have it all perfect for him… after all, I wanted him to know that I was gonna be the perfect wife (if we were to ever marry that is.) :) I took my time and did it all perfect… so I thought. After several times of me doing this for him, he decides that he needs to inform me that I am doing it ALL wrong. I was soooooo embarrassed!! Turns out, I was doing a good job. Just not good enough for this guy that I was desperately in love with. So I had a lesson in “Nats folding and hanging.” Now, I got it down! (I think) and he goes through more clothes than any one person I have ever met!!!
