False Alarm. The girl

So… Lets go in order here…
False Alarm- If you know me, you know that I am a HUGE water drinker. I drink water all day long. I have 3 special bottles that I keep in the fridge full of cold water and I drink atleast all three of them throughout the day. Here lately, I have not been drinking near close to that amount of water. A few weeks ago I had been having some dizzy spells and my heart was beating real fast and it kinda freaked me out… called the Dr and it turns out I was dehydrated. Last night, we had gone out to run a few errands and I was standing up and got very dizzy. So I sat down and felt… not good. I was having contractions (which I have often) so I told Nat and we kinda decided that we should probably go up to l&d and get checked out (I also kinda thought that my water may possibly have broken, turns out I just been peein myself…. Not really, just the pressure from the baby is causing some leakage) (sorry if that’s gross… pregnancy can be so un flattering right??) Anyways… turns out I was pretty dehydrated again. Had a low grade fever. Pee was horribly yellow (oops) and the contractions were from lack of water…. The uterus, being one large muscle was rebelling and contracting. Amniotic test came back negative. Got hydrated and headed for home. Today were doin good!! Already drank 2 huge glasses of water. Still think this kid will stay in there till the end.

Madelynn has really enjoyed living in our new home. There is lots more space for her to crawl around everywhere and she gets into WAY less than she did at our other home cuz its not all right in front of her so I have definitely enjoyed that aspect of it. In her old room, there was only room for her crib and dresser and stuff, so we did not have any toys in there, they were all in the living room. Here, Most of her toys are in her room with a few out here in the living room. She will go in there if I am in there and play with her stuff but other than that, she just wants to be where we are. Today, I went and turned her light on and told her that she CAN go in her room and play with her toys and she did! For a good long time. I didn’t have to worry about her, it was nice so I am hoping that this becomes a regular thing. After awhile, I went in and checked on her and she was tearin all the stuff out of her bottom drawer and she was crawlin all over her suite case and just havin fun! I loved it!

As I have talked about in the months before about how LAZY this girl is… remember how long it took her to crawl??? And sit up?? And hold her head up straight?? I sure do. I never thought she would ever do any of it. She is just very content where she is and she is gonna stay that way as long as possible. This brings us to the subject of walking…. Do you think she even cares about walking??? Or being able to balance and stand?? Not one bit! I work with her and work with her and work with her and we get no where with balancing and standing. She just wants to crawl and she is ok with only that!! One thing that I remember learning back when we were in the sitting up, crawling stage of life is that no matter how much I work with her on these things, she is gonna do it on her time, not mine. Nothin I can do will hurry the process along. She is on her timeline and will do it when SHE is good and ready… not me.. Or anyone else. She is a very content baby and always ahs been! Which has been a blessing in itself cuz her being content where she is means that she is a very laid back, easy goin kid! Anyways.. That being said, unless God intervenes and makes her steps normal and gives her some balancing skills, she wont be walking by time the baby comes. But that’s ok. Cuz obviously, she isn’t ready!! Were gonna have to invest in a good bouble stroller and I will be double strollin everywhere we go! :)
