Dos Mas Semanas (thanks Crystal) Manana

Got that?? I had a spanish lesson. Probably, thats not the right order of wording cuz one thing that I do actually remember from spanish is that the words in the sentences are always out of order... and I remember the word manana!!

It means 2 more weeks tomorrow... I think..

Well, I had every good intention of bringing my camera and camera chord over here so I could share some pictures of our life... but I forgot.

So this week has flown by for me... how better than life flying by for the last few weeks of being pregnant?? I woke up and realized it was Thurs. that means 2 weeks from tomorrow... D-Day!! Wow... 2 weeks did I really make it??? It seems like just yesterday I started the count down with 7 weeks to go. I think I lied.. I dont think this kid will get here early like I had thought. I just have this feeling that its gonna stay right where it is til the 21.

They sent Nat on an out of town run today... I told him to remind them that his wife is 37 weeks pg :)... bad idea. Makes me kinda nervous!

Madelynn had her one year check up on the 4th. It was very traumatic... I cant decide if that, or what happened when we got her tongue clipped was more traumatic... They are pretty close. She is growin great! 50th percentile in weight and height. Anyways.. had to get 3 shots and that broke my heart into a million trillion pieces cuz she has never cried like that before. When I picked her up, she looked at that lady like I had never seen her look at someone before. It was an I dont like you anymore.. please leave kinda look. Then, after that I had to go hold her down so they could draw her blood. UGH! They tied that thing around her little arm and im holdin her down as best I can with no lap. She felt for a vein and I looked down at her tiny little arm and it broke my heart into a million pieces again... she stuck the needle in, missed the vein and started moving the needle around while its stuck in Madelynns arm and she started screaming again. It made me cry... that was just about enough pain to see my baby in for a lifetime.. It was hard. I thought about those sick babies that have to be in the hospital and have to have IV's in them all the time and have to get blood drawn on a regular basis. Makes me thankful that we dont have to go through this that often and that I have a perfect and healthy little girl!

Anyways... I found some pictures on my moms computer so you will get to see a few... Maybe the next post will be about a BABY!!?!?!? Maybe.... :)

Modeling with her new blanket... she has now learned how to make faces at the camera... I have lots of fun pictures to share with her new faces.

My sisters made this blanket for her. Isnt it cute???
