Where have I been?!?!
2 words.
Puppies.
Kids.
Holy COW!!!!!! February 3rd marks a day that will go down in history as the day the puppies will be 8 weeks old and can go to their new homes!!!!! You don't think of all that goes into having 11 puppies in your house until you actually do it for 8 weeks.
So I guess I'm just to the point of feeling like I'm treading water just to keep my head above the waters of LIFE. :)
So I guess I shall do a little life update.
We've been going to Angelo a lot lately.... like every weekend for awhile now.... and I'm packing our bags to leave again tomorrow.... and I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to it. Blah.... you just get sick of packing and un-packing and doing laundry and taking your kids away from their "normal." Don't get me wrong, I love time with family, but after this trip I'm gonna have to vote that family comes to us for a good while!!
This past weekend we went for Payton's annual VCUG for her kidney reflux. It went quite fantastic!!! The procedure went perfect and was flawless!!!!!! We met with Dr. M only to learn that her reflux has gone from a stage 4 to a stage 2! Isn't that awesome??? Such an answered prayer. Now our only hope is that next year when we go in again it will be GONE. He doesn't seem very optimistic that it will heal itself but we are hoping to prove that wrong.
My little man has been sick... but its the weird kinda sick where you dont know what the heck his problem is. Usually, as the mama, I can pin point something or other. He does have a tooth coming in.... and he is the worst teether I have had thus far but this has been horribly miserable... could it be teething??... I'm hoping tomorrow we have a better day with him.
(so is this just a little pathetic that this is the only picture I have recently of my little dude?!?!)
Madelynn hit 3 and a half on the 20th... and holy moly, how did that happen!?!? I can't even believe it!!!! I wont even get started about my little man hitting 18 months in a few short days. She is a big goober head!!! She cracks me up constantly now a days. One of these days I'm gonna do a whole post full of Madelynn's quirky conversations.
Nat got a gun for Christmas from his dad, soooo naturally, he needed to try it out so he got a little hunting in that weekend too. He surprised me with a "date" to go hunting with him one day. It was quite fun and sweet... he packed us a lunch and everything. We spent a little time at the shooting range before we hit the deer blind. We (he) didn't get anything too exciting, Just a few hogs.
I realize that this is a pathetic excuse for an update but, my eyes are crossing, my eye lids weigh approximately 5 lbs each and I can't hold them open any more. My head is spinning round and round very kindly telling me to GO TO BED! So, to bed I go. Forgive any misspellings, or anything that just plain 'ol don't make sense.
