Swimming lessons.

We live on a creek... and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a freak out moment once a day... 

what if my kids sneak out and down to the creek and I don't know it.??

What if they sleep walk down to the creek and I don't know it??

What if they fall in while were down at the creek and I can't get to them in time??

Sorry, but you just can't stop the momma brain... so I was kinda anxious to get them into swim lessons!!

We are the second week in and its going great!! The first week was not good for Payton. Although it is a 3 and older class, I wanted to see if I could get Payton in with Madelynn as she is almost 3.. and she is mature for her age, and already does so well with swimming... I was slightly shocked when we got there, got her in the water and she lost it like I had never seen her do before!! I was feeling all sorts of bad that they let her in to this older class... and here she is being a nuisance to them. By the 3rd day, that was completely over, and now she is LOVING it!!

Madelynn, of course, is the life of the party.... talks the whole time and I'm sure slightly drives them nuts. I just sit over there and laugh to myself as I hear her chatter on and on. and they nicely try and shut her down so they can do their job.

HAHAHA!!

Family day!

We've been fishing like crazy lately!! Its been a lot of fun.

We invited my family out for some fishing and grilling and to hang out!! Everyone had a really great time and we couldn't help but to feel super blessed to be back home and able to do this sort of thing with family!!

Birthday Day

I survived the BIRTHday.

After reassurance from my MIL, I decided I'm not too crazy for being so incredibly emotional as my children age. The night before, as I was home alone and laying in bed re-reading my blog

 as Madelynn grew up, I was a slight basket case. Agghh!

Anywho, for her bday, she wanted to go to Mr. Gatti's and play!! Nat was able to join us, so we had a wonderful time just the 3 of us!! A very special day for a very special girl!!

Nana came over to bring some gifts.

Then we went to Mimi's for MORE presents.

She's been begging for a Dr. kit... she has really gotten into that new show on Disney channel, Doc Mcstuffins... hence the desire for a Dr's bag.

Since we've moved back, and live right on the creek in Mertzon, she has been wanting to fish... so she was super excited to get to pick out her first fishing pole for her B-day!!

We got home late and had some Birthday cake!!

and we fished!

and tonight (yes, this is a super late blog post...) she caught her very first fish!! 

It was precious. 

She's just way too big!!
