7

I've looked back at my blog several times in the past few weeks to remember things…. so I decided I really needed to update life a little more for my own sake!

Soon I can update on our life, but first…

We are officially in the craziest time of year for the Rose household. Birthdays, birthdays and more birthdays!
Nat turned 28.
(more on that later)

and our oldest dear daughter turned 7!
As I've read back over previous birthday posts, Its neat to see the kids really are all the same as they always have been. She's still the headstrong firstborn; stubborn but sweet, crazy but grounded, silly but serious.
If you follow me on Instagram, I described her as sugar and spice… and that about sums her up.

She's been a joy to have around as she gets older. Its neat how the dynamic of our relationship changes as she gets older and needs me less and less. Don't get me wrong, theres still the parent/child part of it… but its like she's a responsible little adult who is fun to hang out with

She's such a smart girl and she is ready to take on the second grade.
(let me repeat that… second grade. AHHH)

She has lost zero teeth! Poor thing is dying to lose a tooth. It seems every day I am seeing kids so much younger loosing their teeth. Its craziness! Poor girl, I check her teeth every few days to see if anything is moving and she automatically tells me they're not gonna be loose. She has given up all hope on loosing any teeth.

For her birthday she picked a family day of hanging out on the creek swimming and fishing, and then bowling and pizza.

Even Aussie got in on the fun. ;)

We are so blessed to have this girl as our own. She challenges us everyday and we are certain that she will do big things with her life.
Love you, Mads!
