Cruise time babay pt. 4

**Sorry I've been MIA... BUT, I am catching up on the Cruise posts, so scroll down and catch up!!

The next day was the BEST day.
Well... It didn't start out that way for me. I woke up grouchy, tired, and with a headache. Therefore I was not looking forward to this day. Matter of fact, I woke up thinking I can't wait for this day to be over.

My heart very quickly changed when we got off the boat and saw the beautiful, turquoise water that was so crystal clear.

Jim, Sharon, Nat and I went on a "Beach buggy and Snorkeling" excursion... and it... was... AWESOME!! Seriously so much fun!

Our destination:
South Point

We stopped for a sec. to check out some Mayan ruins.
Pretty neat.

Then we stopped to look at some crocodiles.
Soo crazy to think that this was right across the road from the beautiful beach!

Our next stop was snorkeling, all the pics we got of that are on the waterproof camera we had.... I'm excited to see how they come out. It was pretty strenuous if I might say so myself. Harder than I thought it would be... but SO worth it!!!! For me, it was all the equipment that made it difficult. I'd much rather have taken the flippers and life jacket off. But... that wasn't an option. We made do tho! We saw lots of awesome fish, lobster, and a sea turtle. That was pretty neat!! I'll share the pics once we get them developed. We worked up a pretty great appetite and came back to some good 'ol mexican food...

mmmhh... soak it up!

our awesome tour guides.

when we left, we saw this:
and this opened up and let loose... and it was probably the most memorable thing of the whole trip! Well, maybe not the most memorable... but it was up there. There are sometimes in life where you gotta LET GO and ENJOY life... and when your driving 60 MPH in Mexico, in an open top beach buggy, with your hair down, flying in the wind, with rain pelting you... its just wonderful.

I won't even begin to tell you how long it took me to brush my hair out. :) After awhile, my arm starting hurting from the constant motion of trying to get all the tangles out, so I had to get Nat to finish brushing it out. It was horribly wonderful!

Our cute driver. :)

Once we got back, we had about an hour and a half to get A LOT of shopping done... and that we did!

So long, Cozumel.
You're a lovely place!

ginormous, delicious, rich piece of cake.

Back on the ship, and after our afternoon nap, we enjoyed another evening on the ship.

it rained again!

Cruise time babay pt. 3

The next day was our first stop which was in Progresso... which there was not a whole lot to. They didn't recommend shopping, and there wasn't much choice for excursions... so we stayed on the boat!

I was pretty excited to see land!

Since we stayed on the boat, and majority of the people got off, there was lots of room for fun to be had!!!
So we Hot tubbed.

and then we did this!!!!
Oh it was sooo much fun!! There was no line other than 2 or 3 pople so we went as much as we wanted to.

... and we raced
and obviously, I lost.
We'll blame it on the fact that I had a little more weight to get down the slide. ;)

Sharon and Crystal.

lunch time!

Although the next night wasn't dubbed "formal" we still got all dressed up
...

More food!

Each night we had different "entertainment" to choose from.
Comedian,
dance shows,
Talent shows,
... and Bingo.

although we lost every time, Bingo is always fun!!

Cruise time babay pt. 2

The next day was a day at sea. We did a little bit of shoppin, went to a show, and just hung out doin a few things here and there.
Nat and I, being the sleep deprived parents, that we are took a nap every single day!!! Lame, I know. I thought to myself how DUMB are we to be on a cruise and napping every single day. Well.... I quickly convinced myself that we were indeed on vacation, and if we needed a nap, then by golly, we deserve one and thats just gonna be a part of it!!!
It was AWESOME!! and I have yet to recover my body from nap mode. :/

We did not attempt to do anything water wise as people were standing shoulder to shoulder in the pool, and in the hot tubs. But, this is the "lido" deck... basically where all the fun stuff is!!

The first night was also formal night at dinner I'm sure the guys would disagree but I think us girls had a lot of fun dressing up and lookin all cute and stuff. :)

We took lots of pics of our food. It was like one of those fancy places that you go to and get a very small serving of whatever you order.... Nat ordered 2-3 appetizers every evening, and at least 3 meals every evening. I'm pretty sure if there were ever a reason for cruise prices to go up, It would be from the amount of Dr. pepper and food that my husband consumed.

This was Black Tiger Shrimp cocktail.... mmm so good! One night we had fried shrimp and a plumb sauce. It was DE-LIC-IOUS!!!!! I waited and waited for that to be on the menu again, but it never showed up.

He couldn't be formal if he tried. ;)

every evening around 9 or 10, we all made our way back to all the food and had round 2 of dinner, Pizza or deli.......

then... of course, our nightly ice cream run. :)

If you wanted sodas, you had to go to the bar to get them... and Nat and Karl spent alot of time at the bar. The bar tender wasn't too terribly happy with them after about 2 times of going up
