Madelynn and her kitchen... and table

The girl is in love I tell you. I can think of no better thing to get her for Christmas than her little kitchen that we got her. She spends most of her day hangin out at her table, or cookin somethin up in her kitchen. We got her this little table at IKEA about a year ago.. I think I talked about it awhile back. She takes everything over there and puts it on HER table. Its hilarious. Anything that means something to her, or anything she wants to check out in detail goes strait over to the table and up climbs Madelynn to check it out.

Her little instruments. This is her playing her little flute thing.
I let her eat lunch on her table one day and she was in lala land. Thought it was the most exciting thing since sippy cups.

I do however, let her eat snack on her table every day.... and as you can see, she stole my soda and took it to her table.

and of course, she uses it for things its supposed to be used for, like coloring.

She uses it as a climbing device and gets on higher things

and she uses it as a cooking aide since she is a little on the shorter side of life.

She cracks me up every day with something new and crazy that she does with that table.
I love this girl.

Anyways... she had her 18 month check up the other day and it went great!! Any check up that no shots are involved is great! She only weighs 22lbs, 40th %. and was 31 in long, right at the 50th %. We got some cream for the eczema on her legs which Im sure she will greatly appreciate. Thats about it. She hit all of her developmental skills, so I just must be doing something right. :)

And lastly, I have a few prayer requests if ya'll would please think about these things in your prayer time.

1) My nephew, Cash was in the hospital over the weekend with tonsillitis and strep. His neck was extremely swollen and he was in alot of pain and running fever. He is home now, and on the mend but he still has some mending to do. I know his momma and daddy are more than ready for him to be back to his normal Cash self!! Pray for quick healing!

2.) Nat's papa passed away this morning. Pray for the whole Rose family, and then some, as losing a loved one is never easy and is a mourning process. Its sad that he is no longer with us, but he is in a better place and wont have to deal with pain anymore.
papa and Madelynn- Mad's first birthday.

and 3.) Just pray for Nat and I for direction. Were kinda at a cross road in our life right now and have some pretty big decisions to make.

I would greatly appreciate it!!!!
