I'm always up for some fun so I gladly agreed to take another trip with the 3 bambinos. Nat has some family there and they hadn't all met Stetson yet. We had a lot of fun... and of course the kids did great!! I am spoiled with such well behaved kids. Nat's cousins have 3 little kids between them and the girls had soooo much fun playing with them!!! (and all their toys)
(don't you just love the way she figured out how to carry buzz too??)
Sherri (Nats aunt) has an ah-mazing back yard, it is just beautiful!! They have lots of fun toys and I got lots of ideas for Christmas this year (can you believe its 3 months away???) We have never had a back yard that was like fenced in and ours, so to speak, so we are really excited about the huge yard we will have when we move... so I am thinking some outdoor toys for Christmas will be quite a must this year. Sure, it'll be cold seeing as its December... but hey, thats alright.
Gift #1 on the list is this:
Oh my goodness did these girls have a blast. Madelynn eventually figured out how to make it go and once that happened, I knew she would be the end of it and she would never wanna get off. We need to work on the steering and stopping, but they just had so much fun. Payton was just as content as she could be riding along with big sister. She quite possibly got whiplash from the whole ordeal.
They had fun playing in the sand
and Payton had fun being her monkey-self, climbing on everything.
Stetsy boy enjoyed sun bathing. :)
(this was right before his big sister nearly ran him over cuz she doesn't know what STOP means)
Madelynn and Kate. This seemed to be a tad safer. Kate knew how to steer AND stop.)
I do believe she was peeing here... but who has to know that???
The whole family came over for dinner and Madelynn bathed in her dessert.
Payton slept on a big bed for the first time and managed to not fall off. I think that I may have said this about Madelynn... but I'm fixin to say it again. Payton is a C-R-A-Z-Y sleeper and is all over the place all night long so I was a tad worried about what she'd do when we move her outta the crib. But just as Madelynn surprised me when I though she was gonna fall off the bed 14 times during the night, Payton didn't move a muscle and stayed in that same position all during nap. I guess they just know!
Anyways... the moral of the story is that I married into a great family!!!!!!
... and Nat was kind enough to remind me that if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have married into this family.... Thanks my dear.
