"wu shat" thats your nose.
"wu shat" thats the wall,
"wu shat" thats a chair
"wu shat" thats your daddy.
and it goes on and on and on and on! and God forbid we go out in public. She is overwhelmed by the newness and it gets even worse. I took her into the Dr. a couple weeks ago, (our first big outing in big girl panties), and she was a crazy lady. Everyone was laughing at her and got such a kick out of her questions. They asked me if this was normal for her to ask so many questions... I just laughed and said.. "oh you have no idea!!!!!!!"
What do you do?? I don't wanna get mad at her about it but goodness gracious, when your not having a great day and your mood is not the greatest, THAT can get very old, and very frustrating. I do my best to take her mind off of it. But does she really need to know who her daddy is??!? I mean, come on, he has been around for 2 years now, its not like he's a new fellow hanging around! Most days, we just laugh about it and flatter her... and there are times we just ignore her when she is being just plain silly!! Just one of those things I want to remember about her.
Madelynn is most definitely hitting the age "2" I always said "terrible 2's" was a joke... blah, blah, blah. ITS NOT A JOKE!!!!! It really IS terrible!! She is pushing buttons, she is testing patience, she is being a 2 year old. Were learning, and working through these difficulties of growing up. I told my dad the other day, the "spoon" is like a magic wand... you get that thing out and direct her in the right way and its like magic!! Not that we go around beating our daughter by any means. We just truly believe in spanking when the time is right!
Potty training, I LOVE to tell you is a done deal!! I am sooooooooooooooooo thankful that I didn't give up when I was just ready to throw in the towel. For the most part, she will just tell you when she's gotta go and your good. She does still have accidents here and there, but only when she is waaaay to distracted to stop what she is doing and potty... and that is to be expected as far as I am concerned. She has got down the "sensation" and knows when its time to go. Going out in public is been quite successful... and bed/nap time is fantastic!! She holds it all night long and at times comes bursting out of her room (did I mention she figured out how to open doors?!?!) yelling POTTY!!! and sometimes she will wake up just fine and dandy and not have to go for a couple hours.
